Advanced Practice Provider Summit

Details: The importance of Advanced Practice Providers in independent Urology continues to grow. The APP Summits are focused on the learning needs of Nurse Practitioners, Advanced Practice Nurses and Physician Assistants with the goal of creating an independent Urology APP community. Meeting agenda time is allocated to topics such as the many models of APP integrations, peer dialogue and disease state programs, covering Men’s Health, GU Cancer Care and Voiding Dysfunction.

Boston Scientific SpaceOAR Surgical Training

Details: Surgical Training Programs are a one-day program that consist of a medical and clinical education program, a dry lab or surgical simulator training session, as well as multiple live O.R. cases to be held at a UroGPO Member Practice. The objective of the program is to quickly and efficiently identify the appropriate and qualified physicians and supporting clinicians within key UroGPO member practices and to assist the practice in creating a successful surgical program at their own practice. The workshop serves to assist in identifying protocol triage points,  guidelines for streamlined care, procedural techniques, a focused intra-practice referral system and a patient communication strategy.
