Advanced Practice Provider Summits
Details: Advanced Practice Providers have become a critical part of Urology patient care and practice efficiency. Urology practices are relying ever more heavily on APPs with nearly 2000 Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) within the UroGPO network. APP Summits gather PAs and NPs from multiple practices across the US to review APP integration models, sub-specialization, onboarding programs, incentives and scheduling in order to bring best practice back home. National experts join the event for modular education on diagnostics, therapies and technical knowledge on leveraging the full functionality of the PPS platform.

Details: Patient Navigation has changed how care is delivered in Urology practices. Practices become more efficient, retain more patients, and positively affect patient outcomes. Patient Navigation and Clinical Solutions meetings gather the operational team members from multiple practices and roles to review best practices and share operational wisdom for successfully running prostate cancer programs. National experts join the event for modular education on diagnostics, therapies, and technical knowledge on leveraging the full functionality of the PPS platform.

In-Office Dispensing and Pharmacy Meeting
Details: In-Office Dispensing and Pharmacy meetings gather new and tenured staff together to review and discuss best practices and operational tips for incorporating an IOD/pharmacy into their APCC. An effective dispensing operation is a critical portion of practice success and desirable patient care. These meetings provide an opportunity for manufacturers to present operational information, network, and impact several accounts in one event. The current focus of these meetings is on GU cancers. Presentation slots are available to industry partners in variable time allotments. One program will be hosted in each selected location with unique member practices each day. An open networking reception and group dinners are held at the end of the first day so that both members are in attendance.

Practice/Region Specific Meetings
Member Advanced Practice Provider Summits
Details: Independent Urology practices are relying ever more heavily on Advanced Practice Providers to deliver patient care. Nearly 2,000 Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) are part of the UroGPO network. APPs are critical members of successful disease state programs, and are champions of protocol adherence. During the APP Summits, meeting time is allocated to foundational education on relevant disease states and therapies, APP integration models, and data systems. Networking and open dialogue between attendees, peers, and manufacturer sponsors is also a core goal of the meeting. Each meeting will be kicked off with a networking reception and group dinners.

Details: Specialty Networks members continue to grow their practices and tackle exciting new initiatives. In partnership with select groups, Specialty Networks will host practice-specific Summits locally with the goal of offering consistent education across all practice providers and staff. In most cases, all providers are strongly encouraged to attend. Agendas will be customized to the needs of each practice.

Details: Join the PPS Analytics team for a live webinar on the second Friday of every month. This call is hosted by the PPS Clinical Analyst team and is intended for all current PPS Analytics members who would like to stay up to date on new and improved PPS portal functionality.
